### Timegated® Raman spectroscopy
Raman spectroscopy is based on the Raman effect, discovered nearly 100 years ago (1928). It is a non-destructive and label-free technique for studying vibrational or rotational modes present in a material without extensive sample preparation. A Raman spectrum yields a wealth of information about the sample and is usually regarded as the fingerprint of the sample. However, in many cases, sample-induced fluorescence obscures the Raman signal during spectral detection.
Timegated® Raman Technology provides an efficient technical solution for measuring the Raman spectrum where fluorescence has been a showstopper.
The Timegated® Raman spectrometer offers several advantages over conventional Raman spectrometers and opens an enormous potential for the use of this new technology in different application areas.

Please check if your sample or the analyte of interest is Raman active, as not all materials are. Typically, atomic elements are not Raman active as Raman is a form of molecular spectroscopy. We would like you to send the samples to us and arrange a pickup service for the samples** **to be returned to you following measurements. We are located in Oulu, Finland. All the samples should be sent to our office with the sample safety datasheet (sds).
We will measure and send the data within 2 working weeks from the time the sample has reached us. Please provide a prepaid shipping label for return of the samples within 6 weeks from the time the sample was received at our site.
