PicoRaman M3 is the only commercial Raman spectrometer capable of time-resolved measurements.
Raman spectroscopy is a very powerful technique on account of its intrinsically high molecular specificity, the requirement for minimal or no sample pre-treatment, the ability to measure aqueous samples, the flexibility of sampling configurations, and suitability for automation. With this new development, the main idea was to produce a Timegated® Raman spectrometer for industrial use, as our previous generation models have been designed for laboratory purposes. Now we have the technology which can see chemical changes fast and in real-time, online with a high accuracy.

PicoRaman opens up new possibilities for research and development e.g. in catalysis, metallurgy and combustion studies. Aside from data on Raman scattering, PicoRaman also provides time-resolved information on fluorescence emission decay. The time-gating technology enabling this has its first commercial application in the PicoRaman instrument.
