We have now released a third-generation instrument PicoRaman M3 which implements the patented time-gated Raman technology with real fluorescence suppression. PicoRaman M3 spectrometer allows making the most out of Raman spectroscopy, with new applications in the fields of science and industry. PicoRaman M3 is the only commercial Raman spectrometer capable of time-resolved measurements.
Raman spectroscopy is a very powerful technique on account of its intrinsically high molecular specificity, the requirement for minimal or no sample pre-treatment, the ability to measure aqueous samples, the flexibility of sampling configurations, and suitability for automation. Furthermore, Raman spectroscopy is a non-destructive, non-contact, label-free, fast and easy-to-use measurement technique. Time-gating increases the robustness and reliability of Raman measurements even further by enabling true fluorescence suppression.
With this new development, the main idea was to produce a Timegated® Raman spectrometer for industrial use, as our previous generation models have been designed for laboratory purposes. Now we have the technology which can see chemical changes fast and in real-time, online with a high accuracy.
Raman ProbePro Mini product family allows easy and continuous measuring of key process parameters via an optical interface. Raman ProbePro Mini enables time-gated Raman spectrometers to be connected to bioreactors for in-situ, real-time analysis to follow composition and changes in a cell culture media. The ProbePro Mini solution is developed to be compatible with SCHOTT ViewPort®.
Raman SampleCube enables easy, safe and representative measurements with Timegated® Raman. The SampleCube offers a sampling from a larger sample surface, limiting laser exposure for the sample, easy laser focusing and enhanced eye safety. The SampleCube is compatible with B&W TekBAC 100 series probes or any other probes with similar dimensions.
Raman spectroscopy is a very powerful technique for material characterization in wide application areas due to its beneficial features including intrinsically high molecular specificity, the requirement for minimal or no sample pre-treatment, the ability to measure complex (biological) solutions, immunity to high water content, the flexibility of sampling configurations, and suitability for automation.

Fluorescence emission is seen as the main challenge in Raman spectroscopy. The patented Timegated® technology solves this problem. PicoRaman has sub-nanosecond pulsed excitation and a time-resolved single-photon counting detector, enabling effective and real fluorescence rejection making both quantitative and qualitative analyses more accurate and reliable. Spectral analysis becomes more specific and precise as fluorescence is no longer a limitation.

Fluorescence has traditionally limited the use of Raman spectroscopy for analysis of certain materials. PicoRaman spectrometer utilizes patented time-gated technology that broadens the benefits of Raman scattering analysis also to materials of high fluorescent emission, and the requirement for less sample preparation also saves time and labour.
Time-resolved Raman spectroscopy has not been commercially available until now. PicoRaman is the new tool for accurate analysis for mining industry, fundamental chemical research, pharmaceutical settings, process analytical technology (PAT) and life sciences. PicoRaman instrument helps you to improve your production quality and reliability.
