Time-gated Raman in global innovation challenge

Testa Challenge is an annual innovation challenge held in Uppsala, Sweden. Selected participants test and verify their technical and digital technology in real-world biomanufacturing. Since introducing new technology in biopharmaceuticals and biomanufacturing is challenging as quality assurance and regulation keep barriers high up, Testa Challenge offers a possibility to understand these barriers and prove that the technology is industry ready.

Timegate applied for the Testa Challenge and were selected by an external advisory board as a participant with four other great companies. According to the Testa Center, the competition to join Testa Challenge 2022 was significant with many strong applicants from around the world, and therefore we are honored to have been selected.

We are going to test and verify our time-gated Raman technology for monitoring biomanufacturing processes. We are excited to get valuable documentation of our time-gated Raman technology in biopharma production with the help of first-hand experience, real-world process data, and the accessibility of the state-of-art equipment and technologies at Testa Center.

The steps we are monitoring with our time-gated Raman in the Testa Challenge are upstream and downstream bioprocesses.
