## Innovative design for a safe and easy operation of the SampleCube

The [**SampleCube**](https://www.timegate.com/products-and-services/products/samplecube)<https://www.timegate.com/products-and-services/products/samplecube> offers a sampling from a larger sample surface, limiting laser exposure for the sample, easy laser focusing, and enhanced eye safety.

The SampleCube allows for more representative measurements, with options for eccentric rotation of the sample cup holder and simultaneous scanning motion of the measurement probe, while users can adjust the amplitude to sample either a smaller area or the entire surface.

The scanning cycle effectively covers the entire surface area while minimizing laser exposure to any single point, reducing sample degradation, with the option for users to adjust the scanning speed to further limit exposure time. This enables the measurements of sensitive samples as well.

The SampleCube features a sliding door to close the sample enclosure, minimizing the risk of retinal damage from powerful lasers, while its black interior reduces light reflections for enhanced eye safety.

While the SampleCube is primarily designed for powder samples, its versatility allows it to measure flat or malleable samples. Additionally, it can accommodate liquid samples in vials or cuvettes by enabling the horizontal insertion of the measurement probe into the sample enclosure.
