The 5th International Symposium on Process Mineralogy takes place in Cape Town, South Africa during 19th-21st November. The event is organized by Mineral Engineering International (MEI) in cooperation with Dr. Megan Becker from the University of Cape Town.
Process Mineralogy invites mineral engineers to discuss over geometallurgy, ore characterisation, sampling and statistics and advanced process control. These topics are interesting for us as we develop instruments and methods for real time process monitoring and analysing material flows in different phases of the mining lifecycle. The basis of the innovation is novel Timegated® Raman spectroscopy technology that enables continuous, non-contact, quantitative and qualitative measurements of solids, liquids and slurries.
We have a booth at the exhibition and Mr. Pekka Tanskanen from University of Oulu will introduce the latest results regarding Spodumene conversion in case of Keliber Oy. More information about monitoring and controlling of Spodumene conversion rate can be found in here.
See you in Cape Town!
